SAFETY SHUT-OFF VALVE SSV

In a natural gas measuring and regulating installations various safety valves are used. In order to prevent the outlet pressure getting too high as a result of a failure of the pressure regulator, a Safety Shut-off Valve (SSV) is applied. The gAvilar SSV SL-IZ is a shut-off valve with high accuracy, low pressure drop and is easy to maintain. The SSV can be supplied with a DVGW approval.

SAFETY RELIEF VALVE SRV

In order to prevent the SSV from closing because of thermal heating, a Safety Relief Valve (SRV) is used. The gAvilar SRV type 275D works very accurately and the safety relief valve is compatible with 30 and 100 mbar grids. The type 155D can be applied with a blow-off pressure up to a maximum of 9.5 barg and the type  285D can be set to a maximum blow-off pressure of 16 barg.
