UniWire gAEB-232 interface

The UniWire-interface gAEB-232 is designed as an interface between a gAVC 1200 and a AMR-system, SCADA-system, modem or directly to a PC and is available in two versions. The standard gAEB-232 is a signal converter which sends its signal directly to the gAVC 1200. The gAEB-232i is equiped with a microprocessor which communicates with the gAVC 1200 through a SCADA system. The gAEB-232 interface has a built-in multi-channel safety barrier which complies with the ATEX-requirements.
The gAEB-232 can be delivered with the following supply voltages: 85 to 240 VAC, 24 Vdc, 12 Vdc or 5 Vdc. Also, the gAVC 1200 can be delivered with a power supply provided that it is equipped with an ATEX 5Vdc power supply board. In order to comply with the ATEX-directive the gAEB-232 and gAEB-232i should be mounted in an ATEX safe zone and the PA terminal should be connected to ground.
